Introductory Note

Dear Devotees,

Our Country (Bharat) is the birth place of Hinduism. To elevate mankind to highly virtuous and noble beings suitable for all generation our saints and sages have put enormous efforts to the development of brotherhood and eliminate narrow differences. The mission of Hindu Temple and cultural center is to provide a forum of religion worship and celebrations, and for cultural, religious and spiritual development activities based on Hindu Vedic traditions. The new Shani Baghavan temple will be a hub of Hindu religious and cultural activities meeting needs and regional cultural groups. The temple will strive to be all inclusive and the facilities will be available to all community members who believe and respect the Hindu/ Vedic/ Sanadhana Dharma.

There are myriad of prayers and hymns eulogizing Lord Shri Saniswara, one among the nine planets, there is hardly any separate temple for this Lord, nor any correct description of him. As such, after going through various ancient texts, the Great Saniswara envisioned by the Trust founder Shri G.K.Murthy's mind (Winner of four National Awards for Excellence as designer in India) was duly blessed by the sage of Kanchi Sri Chandrasekhandra Saraswathi Maha Swamigal 40 forty years ago. He smiled and told the founder that you have the blessings of Sri Sarveswara and you will achieve your goals. You will realize your dreams in due course but wait a little and then you will get the help from Governement and the Public. The Swamiji blessed him and gave the Founder Tulsai and Nagalinga flower with his sacred hands.

As such, with the thought of Mahaperiya 6ft height the statue of Shri Shani Baghavan erected in eagle’s piercing eyes and on the backside Shri Narayani has been carved as per agama sastra as we worship in Vaishnava temples that Shri Chakrathalwar on the one side and Shri Narasimhamurthy on the reverse side.

With the blessings of Kanchi Kamakodi Shri Mahaperiya for the prosperous life of people the following temples are going to be constructed.

Important Shrines – Navagra : Sri Suriyan, Sri Chandran, Sri Mangala (Sevaai), Sri Buthan, Sri Guru, Sri Shukra, Sri Raghu and Sri Kethu. Important Shrines - Twelve Rasis: Sri Mesham, Sri Rishabham, Sri Mithunam, Sri Kadagam, Sri Simmam, Sri Kanni, Sri Viruchigam, Sri Dhanusu, Sri Magaram, Sri Kumbham and Sri Meenam.

Important Shrines - TwentySeven Nakshatras Sri Aswini, Sri Bharani, Sri Karthigai, Sri Rohini, Sri Mrigasheersham, Sri Thiruvaathirai, Sri Punarpoosam, Sri Poosam, Sri Aayilyam, Sri Makkam, Sri Pooram, Sri Uthiram, Sri Hastham, Sri Chithirai, Sri Swaathi, Sri Visaakam, Sri Anusham, Sri Kettai, Sri Moolam, Sri Pooraadam Sri Uthiraadam, Sri Thiruvonam, Sri Avittam, Sri Chathayam, Sri Poorattathi, Sri Uthirattathi and Sri Revathi Other ongoing temple Project : Annadhana Koodam, Bhrindavana Gosala. Veda Pada Salai, Community Hall and Marriage Hall For Shri Shanibagavan exclusive temple is going to be constructed at Padacherry village set in lush green surrounding with the Vettar river flowing. It is said that Sri Shani Baghavan is a worshipper of Lord Shiva and in other words another appearance of Shri Mahavishnu. To get the blessing of Shri Shani Baghavan, Lord Shiva, and Shri Maha Vishnu it is proposed to construct Separate temples for each of the deities. The idol of Lord Shaneswaran is adoring in yellow garb as yellow is an auspicious color. He is sitting on an eagle; he is arched in the form of a bow. His look is pensive with a smiling face and his appearance attracts one and all. The apt statue of Lord Shani Baghavan has been made out for the daily pooja. Adhi Shankara's Philosophy of "SANMADHA" embodying six structures of faith including the worship of Ganapathi, Kandhan, Shivan, Krishana, Devi and Suriyan (Sun) is unified in the worship of Lord Shanieswaran. By worshiping Lord Shanieswaran one gets all the benefits worshipping all the above six deities.

Independent Twelve Rasi Sananadis and TwentySeven Nakasthra Sannadhis are built separately to facilitate the devotees with a view to worship the deities according to their Rasi and Nakasthram. This aspect of Rasi and Nakathra’s sanandhis will not find place in any of the temple in south India.

The proposed Sanandhis are constructed according to Hindu Dharma Sastra's vidhis. Inside the temple it has been proposed to construct Goshala for protection cow whether barren or old and take care under best medical facilities. Similarly construction of Annadha Koodam, Meditation Hall and Community Hall. The estimated cost for above project works out to Rs.15,00,00,000 /- (Rupees fifteen Cores). It's uttered that people's participation in construction of temple annihilates sins that have been carried over seven previous births. Devotees can devote "Blessed stones" that will cost Rs. 5001/- (Rupees five thousand one only) and the devotee can donate as many as possible, and be a part of this temple.
