Thiruvaduthurai Adheenam, Mutt Pontiff performed Bhoomi Puja for the temple in 2015 and blessed the Devotees who had gathered there. He made a short discourse on Lord Shani Bhaghavan. The pontiff took a brick and gave it to the K.Manikandan Managing Trustee of Sarvamangala Sayaputhiran Sevimayam Charitable Trust who in turn gave it to Mason and he laid the brick as a foundation stone for the temple.
